Show stopping hair from London Fashion WeekLeave a Comment
Celebrities flocked to London last week for its biannual Fashion Week, the biggest event in the fashion calendar. While people descend to see the latest fashions by the biggest designer houses, LFW is also the best place to spot all the hottest hair trends of the season. Here are some highlights from the catwalk and the stars that attended the prestigious event. Best Female Model Hair Models all over the catwalks were rocking a sweet beehive look. Designers such as PPQ and Antipodium decided to go for the dramatic 60âs beehive look this year, varying from a messy, untamed rock nâ roll hive to sleeker, Diana Ross and the Supremes inspired look.
Sleek and Glossy
Longer styles this year were all about keeping your hair super straight and super shiny, with long hair capes draping over the pink and pastel fashions that dominated the catwalk. Labels that ditched the back combing and poured on the shine included Daks, Erdem and Burberry which made for a super sexy alternative to the big hair seen in previous shows. To master this look you will need a great pair of straighteners and some quality smoothing serum to tame frizz and flyaways.
Best Male Celebrity Hair
The male models might be relegated to the London Collections event in a few months, but that didnât stop the male celebrities with a passion for fashion sitting in the front rows. All eyes were on man of the moment Harry Styles, but it was his mate, radio DJ Nick Grimshaw who won in the hair stakes with his trademark quiff. Fashioned into a messy wave, Grimshawâs locks had an ombre look which added a little bit of fun, texture and flair to his usually dark mop.

The combination of a fun, girly colour in a gorgeous, grown-up cut makes a style thatâs perfect for the ever-evolving Kelly Osbourne. A big chunky fringe coupled with lots of heavy, dramatic layers frame the face and a touch of back combing adds even more drama. A great do for winter, Kellyâs pastel shade and style gets the thumbs up from us.
